概要
The EasySep™ Rat IgM Depletion Kit is designed to deplete IgM+ cells from single-cell suspensions of splenocytes or lymph nodes or from whole blood by positive selection. The EasySep™ procedure involves labeling unwanted cells with antibody complexes and magnetic particles. The magnetically labeled cells are separated from the untouched desired cells by using an EasySep™ magnet and simply pouring or pipetting the desired cells into a new tube.

Data
Starting with a single-cell suspension of splenocytes from a Sprague Dawley rat, the IgM content of the final isolated fraction is typically 8.0 ± 4.1%. In the above example, the purities of the start and final depleted fractions are 55.7% and 8.7%, respectively (1.6 log depletion).
